Cryo @ Wolf opened in the Wolf Ranch shopping center Jan. 5. The business offers whole-body cryotherapy treatments. Wolf Ranch Town Center added two new sculptures on Jan. 13. “Sunburst,” a large steel sculpture with various length tubes representing the sun’s rays, was made by Scott Shubin and is located near Ross Dress for Less. “Luminous Beings Are We” is an interactive sculpture that acts as a life-sized picture frame made by Kirk Seese. It is located on the southeast side of the property near National American University. The addition of the sculptures is a partnership with the city of Georgetown’s Art and Culture board and makes the center a designated stop on Georgetown’s annual Sculpture Tour. MicroArtistry, a microblading and micropigmentation service, opened in mid-January at 103 N. Austin Ave., Ste. 220, Georgetown, next to Hula Cowgirl in the Two Rivers shops. The business provides ear piercing and permanent makeup to include eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. «Brows are my specialty,» owner Amber Massa said. «I have been doing this for five years and have been a licensed cosmetologist for 18 years.» Massa also offers training for eyebrow work via MicroArtistry Academy, which is mainly online, though she said she plans to hold in-person trainings for permanent makeup and brow lamination. www.microartistry.com, www.microartistryacademy.com
